Upon watching Room in Rome, before anything had actually happened, I immediately had to pause and go search up the soundtrack which lead me to discover Russian Red. According to wiki, she is “known by many as the Spanish Feist,” and I was sold. She instinctively writes and sings all of her compositions in English as a result of listening to music in English. You can definitely hear the indie-folk influences in her voice. - d tran
